You must know by now that the newest thing in planning your wedding is creating your own personal website. This is really valuable (and fun) for the bride! It's a great way to cooridnate and share your wedding plans with family and friends especially the "out-of-towners". Yes, most still send out a "save the date" invite which would include the website URL. I created 2 years ago for my cousin a Save the Date magnet... very simple with the names of the Bride-to-Be and Groom-to-Be, wedding date and website. Keep it on refrigerator and now you will remember the date... also the website. She was able to create her own website, pre-wedding plans, hotels in the area, honeymoon plans, bridal shower registry, photos, fun polls for the website visitors that she could change over and over plus so much more. I honestly don't know all the wedding websites out there but she used eWedding and she found it easy to use and affordable.
What other Wedding websites have you used, liked, disliked, afforable or not affordable. I'm sure all the brides-to-be out there would love to know!

New Hot Wedding Colors
I've been meeting with many brides the past few months and love all the new colors they seem to be going with. My favorite seems to be the CHOCOLATE & LIGHT BLUE however another bride chose and COPPER & BROWN. I was amazed how the two colors looked with each other.. perfect for the Fall Wedding she is having. After seeing the warm copper color, I put it next to a blue swatch I have. It's another great combination to use. One wedding invitation I just finished up was a TANGERINE & CORAL combination. I love how the brides of 2007 aren't afraid of keeping it conventional! I'd love to hear what other brides are using for a color combinations.

Artist of the Month - Lynne Foy
I'm excited to have my first "Artist of the Month" on the La Bella Rue site. Lynne Foy is a exceptional artist who draws you into her paintings. Each one has such feeling and emotion it's hard not to put yourself in that canvas and experience it. One of my favorites is "Night Takes Leave". I wonder are the footprints coming or going from the dunes and find myself wanting to know!! I hope you enjoy viewing the paintings and let me know which is your favorite. I'm leaving Lynne up for the month of July and August.
