Destination Wedding

I haven't been on my blog in a few months I'm embarrassed to say!

I'm working on many different wedding invitations right now but one in particular will definitively be breaking all the traditional rules. It's a "Destination Wedding" and the bride-to-be wants to have the invitation look like a boarding pass. Of course I was thrilled that I could design something so different since my background is in the Graphic Design field. So we are starting with her Save The Date cards which I'll design to look like "postcards" one side being a photo and the other side the info. I contacted the Dreams Resort in Cancun and they supplied me with many different images of their Resort so at least the guests are getting an image of the actual place instead of just an image anywhere in Mexico. I can't wait to start on the designs for the wedding "boarding pass" invitation. Once it's completed and the bride has actually sent them out to her guests I'll post the pictures. So if you are having a destination wedding really think outside the box.. Have fun with it!
